Coaches
Elijah Black

Coach Elijah Black played midfield at Ohio State University and currently serves as an assistant coach for Westside HS. At Saint Viator High School in Illinois, he was a three-sport athlete, competing in wrestling, football and lacrosse. Coach Elijah was All-Illinois as both a junior and senior, scored over 100 career goals, was two-time ESCC All-Conference, earning the award in 2017 and 2018, and he was a four-year member of Saint Viator’s football team who led the team in rushing and touchdowns. Also played defensive back and returned punts/kickoffs. Coach Elijah was tabbed as the nation’s No. 95 player in the Inside Lacrosse Top Young Gun Senior Rankings.

Calvin Matlock
Calvin Matlock is a senior captain for the Westside HS varsity team. Calvin plays defense, will be a four-year starter, and has earned THSLL All-district honors.
