Below are some announcements and updates regarding season awards, summer workouts, summer league, and return to school.
2020 Season Honors and Awards
The coaches have voted on season awards, including Most Valuable Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Hustle Hard Award, and Most Improved Player of the Year. The announcement and virtual presentation will be via West Houston Lacrosse social media (Instagram and Facebook) this Friday July 10 12:00p.

A special congratulations to Noah Zamarippa committing to Southwestern University and Josué Exantus committing to Genesee Community College earnings scholarships to play lacrosse. More news to come!
Summer S&C
All summer workouts suspended until July 19. As soon as we receive an update from Coach Mason, you will be notified.
In the meantime, we strongly encourage to you work out on your own, with an emphasis on cardio workouts and distance runs.
 
West Houston Summer League Canceled 
Unfortunately, due to the recent resurgence of COVID-19, we do not have the confidence to safely run our summer league this year. Refunds will be issued for those who have registered and submitted fees.
Fall Return to School
Westside had a faculty meeting this past week. The significant update is the final school calendar (see attached). HISD is collecting data and input on faculty and student opinions on returning to school. We should be expecting another update this week. I will notify you as soon as I receive any new information.
