Hello Westside Lacrosse Players, Parents, and Interested Athletes,
Fall Ball has been a beneficial experience for all those who have participated, and we have built a strong core team this fall, focusing on and accomplishing process buy-in, academic standards, varsity level conditioning, proper stick skill technique, and basic team concepts.
As we get towards the spring season, our next objective is to continue growth without disruption or hindrance, provide a fair opportunity for those who wish to join the team after their fall sports, and reward those who have demonstrated commitment this fall.
Thus, our coaches have devised the team tryout details and criteria below.
If you are/were in another fall sport and participated in box clinics, you should join practices at the conclusion of your fall season, and you may participate in our fall ball tournament 11/23-24.
You will also need to attend Saturday clinics 11/9 and 11/16 10am-12pm @ Westside practice field.
If you are/were In another fall sport and did not participate in box clinics, you may not join practice at the conclusion of your fall season, and you may not participate in our fall ball tournament 11/23-24.
You may attend, and are strongly encouraged to attend, Saturday clinics 11/9 and 11/16 10am-12pm @ Westside practice field.
There will be an opportunity for a winter break camp to develop skills and conditioning necessary to successfully try out for the team. We strongly advise you to work on your mile times and stick skills. No cradle catching. Overhand throwing. If you have any questions or would like a training pack, please feel free to ask Coach Song RM N122.

If you participated in fall ball training and box clinics, and you complete the fall ball season through the tournament in good standing, you automatically make the team.
